David Amar has lived and worked in Montreal, Paris, London, New York, and Cancun. David was a senior partner at MONITOR, one of the leading Boston based International Strategy Consulting firms with some 1100 consultants worldwide.For over 30 years, David has guided senior executives of major global companies to develop strategies and organization structures or processes maximizing growth and profitability, particularly in North America and Europe. His international clients included Avantis, Behringer Ingelheim and Behringer Mannheim, Bristol Myers Squibb, Ciba Geigy, Glaxo SmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Pfizer, Rhone Poulenc Rorer, Roche and Sanofi and most recently Solid Farma in Mexico.​​ During his decades of consulting in France, the UK and the US, David experienced and enjoyed gastronomy festivals as a customer which led him to become passionate about events combining chefs, excellent wines, great cuisine, and luxury travel. In 2012 he launched Wine & Food festival in Cancun-Riviera Maya and Mexico City, welcoming the most prestigious chefs and wineries of the World and Mexico, celebrating 12 annual editions since.
